Leah Demathieu has over 15 years of classroom experience teaching French to adults and children. She currently teaches at Laney College in Oakland, is course coordinator for the Alliance Française de Berkeley, and has taught at Martin Luther King Jr Middle School and Head Royce School . Her mission as a French as a foreign language teacher (FLE) is to make learning French as accessible as possible by using songs, short plays, poems, and authentic resources. She and her Franco/American family love getting together for hikes and good meals (lots of cheese is involved!).
