Donna Williams is the School Secretary at Crowden. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature from Cal State University, East Bay. From 2004-2014, Donna was assistant librarian at Schools of the Sacred Heart (SSH), an independent school in San Francisco. She was also a substitute teacher for the SSH boys school, Stuart Hall. From 2017-2020, she was family liaison for Lodestar Community Public School, a K-12 charter school in Oakland. Donna is a certified community organizer through Innovate School. In 2008 she co-founded a 6 week summer reading program collaborative with the University of San Francisco Master Teachers of Reading Program. The program focus is to combat summer learning loss, its demographic being K-8 students from marginalized communities in SF. She facilitates a social justice book club, the mission of which is to generate conversation and cultivate understanding through literature.
