In Crowden School teacher Karen Ginsberg‘s Science classes, our 6th–8th grade students have been getting involved with local ecology, collecting and assessing data from the Crowden campus, Live Oak Park, and the Berkeley Marina for over a year now. The student-designed methods and systems for collection, analysis, and presentation highlight what engaged, creative, and conscientious community citizens our students are. We’re so thankful to Toshiba America Foundation for making it possible by giving Karen a TAF STEM Grant!
