Anne Crowden’s favorite sport was baseball. Her daughter, Deirdre, shared that Anne liked nothing more than a morning filled with music followed by a day at the park with baseball. We followed that advice and following the first day of school dozens from the Crowden community joined the fun at the Oakland Ballers game. 

A trio of Crowden alums (Ansel, Crowden School ‘20; Sina, Crowden School ‘21, and longtime community programs student Toni) played the national anthem (arranged by Emma, Crowden School ‘18) to kick off the evening’s game–which the Ballers won!! Much fun was had, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again.
